More than 7,000 9th to 12th standard students from schools throughout Rajkot attended a special Prayer Seminar at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Rajkot on 25 February 2012 in the presence of Pujya Doctor Swami. The seminar was organized to inspire students for the forthcoming Board examinations.
At the start of the seminar the students participated in Vedic prayers for their success in the forthcoming examinations. Following the prayers was an inspiring speech titled ‘Winners Never Quit’ by Mr Ajay Umat, a renowned journalist and writer. Thereafter, Apurvamuni Swami gave an excellent speech entitled ‘It’s Not the Last Match’. The students were also motivated by a wonderful video on ‘Why They Succeed’ depicting the success stories of national and international personalities.
The seminar concluded with the stirring and experienced guidance of Pujya Doctor Swami who emphasized the importance of faith in God, self-confidence and hard work to overcome the anxieties of examinations and fear of failure.
Principals and teachers from many schools in Rajkot also attended this seminar.
