The Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav was celebrated with great grandeur in Varachha (Surat) over a course of five days. The celebrations took place from 13th to 17th Dec, 2012.
On 13th Dec, 2012, a cultural program was organized in which an inspiring and thought provoking play was presented.
A melodious Kirtan Aradhana was presented by BAPS sadhus on 14th Dec, 2012.
A Suvarna Tula of Pujya Harikrishna Maharaj was organized on 15th Dec, 2012, in which numerous devotees lovingly offered their seva.
On the morning of 16th Dec, 2012, a Vishwashanti Mahayagna was arranged in which over 2200 Yajmaans participated and prayed for world peace. That afternoon the Murtis to be consecrated in the Mandir were taken around the city in a magnificent Nagar Yatra.
On 17th Dec, 2012, Murtis previously sanctified by Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj were consecrated in the new Mandir with Vedic rituals by Pujya Mahant Swami, Pujya Tyagvallabh Swami, and other senior Sadhus. This joyous occasion was attended by more than 30,000 devotees.
