On 12th August, 2012, the auspicious festival of Janmashtami was celebrated at the Baha'i Centre in Sydney, Australia.
The programme included bhajans, speeches and video presentations. The highlights of the evening were a drama presented by the Yuvak Mandal and a dance presented by the Kishore Mandal. The festivities concluded with traditional rocking of Shri Hari Krishna Maharaj's cradle to signify the birth of Shri Krishna, followed by Aarti and Mahaprasad.
This event was attended by various dignitaries including the Consul General of India Sh.Arun Kumar Goel and Local Federal MP Ms.Julie Owens.
