On 13th May 2012, BAPS sadhus and volunteers visited a Salvation Army orphanage in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
The volunteers distributed cooking oil, maize, beans, biscuits, chocolates, soap, toothpaste and many other items of daily necessity, to the children. In accordance with a special request by the orphanage, over 240 sets of plates, bowls and spoons were also donated.
The caretakers and the children happily acknowledged the donation and thanked the sadhus and volunteers.
