On 5 February 2012, the 47th Annual Day celebration of the Akshar Purushottam Chhatralay in Vidyanagar was held at Akshar Farm in Anand in the presence of Pujya Mahant Swami. The highlight of the celebration assembly was a thought-provoking drama titled ‘Mr. I’ presented by the youths. The drama depicted the disruptive consequences in personal, family, professional and social life due to ego.
Also, awards were presented to the students for their academic achievements and spiritual efforts over the past year.
Finally, Mahant Swami addressed the large assembly of students and devotees, “The drama opens one’s inner eyes of wisdom. If one is humble from within then one experiences peace. Ego prevents one from understanding others and only when ego is shed will one experience peace.”
