On the evening of November 25, 2012, the 60th year of BAPS youth activity was celebrated on the grounds of Swaminarayan Akshardham, New Delhi. Established by Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj and nurtured by Pragat Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj, BAPS' Youth activities complete 60 years this year. Various BAPS centers have organized events to vitalize youth activities. Delhi was selected along with a few centers in India to stage the celebrations and thus got an opportunity to organize a beautiful cultural event in Hindi. Around 120 yuvatis of North India participated in it. Through an amalgamation of dance, music and drama, with an aim to enhance the spiritual awakening, this event showcased a saga weaving the tales of four of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s women devotees, namely, Bhakti mata, Suhasini bhabhi, Laxmi bai (Jetalpur) and Nani bai (mother of Kashidas - Bochasan). Some other highlights included – a slide-based presentation on the event's objectives, as well as folk dances from Rajasthan, Gujarat and North India. The event was enjoyed by an audience of 2500 and concluded with mahaprasad.
