Kishore-Kishori Shibirs were organized by BAPS Centers in Adelaide on Monday 14 March 2011 and Sydney on Thursday 21 April 2011. A total of 35 kishores-kishoris in Adelaide and 70 kishores-kishoris in Sydney attended the shibirs in the presence of Jnanpurush Swami and Adarshmuni Swami.
The theme of the shibir was ‘1781 –Swaminarayan Sampradaya’. The attendees learnt about some of the fundamental aspects of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya – Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s Vedic Philosophy, Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s Personality, Satpurush, Sadhana and Moksha. The topics were delivered through speeches, breakout sessions and group activities in an interactive way.
Enlightening speeches and inspiring videos strengthened the delegates’ understanding of the values and principles taught by Bhagwan Swaminarayan. The youths were inspired to live according to these principles and earn the blessing of guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
