Between 31 October 2009 and 3 December 2009, two BAPS sadhus completed a Satsang tour of six countries in the Asia Pacific region. They visited Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong and Thailand. The 35- day tour helped to strenghten satsang values in young and old alike. Many people were inspired to take up new niyams, such as, performing daily pooja, conducting ghar sabha, attending the weekly satsang assembly and leading addiction- free lifestyles.
This Satsang tour featured first-time visits to Manila in the Philippines and Tanjin, China, where the sadhus spoke about the teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and the sublime message of Pramukh Swami Maharaj: “In the joy of others lies our own.”
