The 114th birth anniversary of Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj was celebrated with great fanfare at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Sydney on 29 May 2006 in the presence of more than 500 devotees. The celebrations were based on the theme 'Ame na bhuliye tamne'.
The celebration featured speeches on the bond, friendship and loving care of Yogiji Maharaj towards youths.
The youths presented a quiz entitled 'Gnan Ganga Yogi Tari', in which three teams participated. Youths also performed a skit, 'Yogiji na Yuvano' - youths of Yogiraj - depicting how Yogiji Maharaj inspired many youths to shed bad habits and addictions and lead a moral, spiritual life.
Video shows of Yogiji Maharaj and Pramukh Swami Maharaj added the climax to a special evening of spiritual celebrations.
