From 3.30 to 5.00 pm on Sunday 2 July 2006, over 400 devotees participated in Rath Yatra procession in the premises of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir. The murti of Shri HArikrishna Maharaj was placed in a beautifully decorated chariot and five pradakshina of the mandir were performed while devotees sang bhajans. After each pradakshina, arti was performed.
At 5.00 pm the celebration assembly was held with speeches by BAPS sadhus and bhajans.
