On 11 September 2005, over 130 devotees participated in the Vedic mahapuja ceremony held to celebrate the first inauguration anniversary of the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Lenasia.
In the evening, over 800 devotees attended the celebration assembly, speeches, bhajans and dances, presented by the senior devotees, youths and balaks.
