New Year’s Eve 2003 saw the annual gathering of devotees at the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden for another fun-filled programme.
The gathering was treated to memories of Swamishri’s vicharan of 2003 as well as highlights of the year. Youths from Leicester performed a comedy drama. The highlight of the evening was a presentation of the History of Satsang in the UK from its humble beginnings 50 years ago in 1953 to the present day with the aid of videos, photographs and narrations from those individuals who were part of history in the making.
The finale was the ‘Pushpãnjali’ offering of prayers for the New Year followed by P. Atmaswarup Swami addressing the gathering of children, teenagers and youths.
