Large Prayer gathering in Ahmedabad
A special Prayer Gathering was organized on 20-6-99, from 6.30 - 8.30 PM at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Ahmedabad. More than 6,000 devotees gathered in the presence of sadhus, prominent ministers, leaders of various parties, the Mayor, Chief Secretary, Collector and other officials to pray in unison. They expressed their wish of the Indian army emerging victorious against the infiltrators and further glorifying the greatness and grandeur of India. Arranged under the guidance of sadhus, this gathering included Vedic prayers, national songs, mantra pushpanjli, dhun, national anthem and other emotionally stirring programmes.
