પ્રેરણા પરિમલ
ભગવાન ખોટા થઈ જતા નથી...
એક યુવક પહેલા સત્સંગસભામાં આવતો હતો, પરંતુ નોકરી છૂટી ગયા પછી તેની ભગવાન પ્રત્યેની આસ્થા ઓછી થઈ ગઈ હતી.
પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે એને સમજાવતાં કહ્યું કે 'સંસારમાં તો સુખદુઃખઆવવાનાં જ છે. સત્સંગસભામાં આવતો રહીશ તો સહન કરવાનું બળ મળશે, અને આગળ માર્ગસૂઝ શે. નોકરી છૂટી જાય એનાથી કંઈ ભગવાન ખોટા થઈ જતા નથી. માટે એવો વિચાર કર્યાવગર સત્સંગમાં અને મંદિરમાં આવતો રહેજે.'
સ્વામીશ્રીએ આપેલી હિમંતથી એ યુવકની આંખો આત્મવિશ્વાસથી ચમકવા લાગી.

Uprooting One's Worldly Desires
Then Gopãlãnand Swãmi asked, "One's worldly desires may have become blunt, but what is the reason for them not being removed from their roots?"
Shriji Mahãrãj explained, "The answer is that if a person has perfectly imbibed the following four qualities, then his worldly desires would become uprooted: gnãn in the form of knowledge of the ãtmã, vairãgya in the form of detachment from all things that have evolved out of Prakruti, dharma in the form of brahmacharya, etc., and bhakti coupled with the knowledge of God's greatness. Any deficiency in these four qualities leads to a proportional deficiency in uprooting one's worldly desires."
