ભોજનનો રસ જ નહીં
બહેરીનમાં સ્વામીશ્રી જમી રહ્યા બાદ સેવક સંતો જમવા બેઠા ત્યારે ખબર પડી કે શાકમાં મીઠું જ નથી.
સાંજે સેવકોએ સ્વામીશ્રીને કહ્યું : 'બપોરે શાકમાં મીઠું નહોતું તો કેમ વાત ન કરી ?'
સ્વામીશ્રી સ્મિત સાથે બોલ્યા : 'તમે ખાધું એટલે ખબર પડી ને ? ઠાકોરજીના થાળમાં જે આવે તે જમી લેવાનું. એમાં બોલવાનું શું હોય ?'
આ બધી વિગતોનો સાર એ કે સ્વામીશ્રીને ભોજનની વાનગીઓમાં કોઈ રસ નથી અને ભોજનના રસ વિષે કોઈ ફરિયાદ નથી. ઠાકોરજીને જે પીરસ્યું અને જે જમ્યા એમાં આપણે કંઈ કહેવાનું ન હોય, કશી ફરિયાદ ન હોય.

Even a Trace of Anger Leads to Misery
Then Shuk Muni asked, "Mahãrãj, if a slight trace of anger arises but is then suppressed, is such anger obstructive, or not?"
Shriji Mahãrãj replied, "If a snake were to appear in this assembly at this moment, then even if it does not bite anyone, everyone would still have to rise and scatter; there would be panic in everyone's heart. Furthermore, if a tiger were to come and roar at the outskirts of a village, then even if it does not harm anyone, all would feel terror within, and no one would come out of their homes. Similarly, even if a trace of anger were to arise, it would still be a source of extreme misery."
