આંતર વૈભવ

જમ્યા પછીની ૨૦૦ મુલાકાતો બાદ સ્વામીશ્રી રૂમમાં પધાર્યા. જાણીતા ઓર્થોપેડિક સર્જન ડૉ. વી.એમ. શાહ સ્વામીશ્રીનાં દર્શને આવ્યા હતા. સ્વામીશ્રી સાથે વાત કરતાં તેઓ કહે : 'આ ઉંમરે પણ આપના મોઢાનું તેજ એવું ને એવું જ છે. એમાં પણ આપની આંખ તો ગજબ છે !'
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : 'ભગવાનની ઇચ્છાથી બધું થાય છે. એમના સંકલ્પ પ્રમાણે કામ થાય છે. જે સારું થાય છે એ બધી ભગવાનની કૃપાથી થાય છે.'
'સારું તો થાય છે પણ એની પાછળ બળ તો હોય ને !'
'એ જ ભગવાનનું બળ અને ગુરુની કૃપા.' સ્વામીશ્રીએ સહજતાથી બધો જ યશ મહારાજ તથા ગુરુના ચરણોમાં ધરી દીધો.

Two Ways to Fall from Bhakti
“There are two ways in which a person falls from the bhakti of God: One is by listening to shushka-Vedãnta scriptures, whereby he may consider the form of Shri Krishna Bhagwãn and other forms of God to be false – just as he considers all other forms to be false. Such a shushka-Vedãnti should be considered to be extremely ignorant. The other way of falling is by believing, ‘If I worship God, then I will enjoy women, food, drink and other pleasures of the panchvishays in Golok and Vaikunth.’ Then, due to the desires of those pleasures, he forgets even God…”
