ભોજન વખતે સ્વામીશ્રીએ એક કોળિયો મુખમાં લીધો અને ચાવતાં ચાવતાં પણ હરિભક્તોને હાથ જોડીને દૃષ્ટિ દ્વારા મળવા લાગ્યા. બીજે કોળિયે પણ એવું જ કર્યું.
સેવક સંત કહે : ‘સ્વામી એક કોળિયો લે ને હાથ જોડે છે... હાથ જોડ્યા જ કરે છે, એટલે આ વ્યક્તિગત મુલાકાતો જ ચાલે છે. એક-એકને આંખોથી મળે છે. સંતોષ થઈ જાય.’
સ્વામીશ્રી ભાવભર્યા સ્વરે કહે : ‘એમને સંતોષ થાય કે ન થાય, આપણને તો થાય.’
સ્વામીશ્રી ગુરુએ સોંપેલી જવાબદારી વફાદારીપૂર્વક નિભાવ્યાના સંતોષની જ વાત કરતા હશે ને !

A renunciant devotee should
“… Therefore, a renunciant devotee of God should realise his own chaitanya to be distinct from both the body and the relatives of the body. He should believe, ‘I am the ãtmã; I have no relations at all with anyone.’ In fact, the relatives of this body should be considered together with the relatives of the 8.4 million types of previous life forms…”
