પ્રેરણા પરિમલ
ભગવાન જેવી રચના કોઈ ન કરી શકે...

સ્વામીશ્રી ભ્રમણ માટે વૉકિંગ મશીન ઉપર આવ્યા. ચાલતી વખતે આધુનિક સંશોધનની વાત નીકળી.
બ્રહ્મવિહારી સ્વામી કહે : 'હવે તો એવા આધુનિક સંશોધનો થયાં છે કે રૂમ જ એવા પ્રકારની હોય કે જ્યારે તમે જાગો ત્યારે સૂર્યોદય ને જમવા બેસો ત્યારે મધ્યાહ્ન અને સાંજે સૂર્યાસ્ત અને રાત પણ રૂમમાં જ પડે. જેને એન્વાયરમેન્ટ એનહેન્સમેન્ટ કહેવામાં આવે છે.'
સ્વામીશ્રી તરત જ કહે : 'પણ એમાં સાચુકલા સૂર્યનો અનુભવ થાય ખરો?'
બ્રહ્મવિહારી સ્વામી કહે : 'લાઇટો જ એવી ગોઠવી હોય કે તમને એવું જ લાગે કે જાણે સૂર્યોદય થયો છે. પંખીનો કલરવ અને બધું જ એમાં સાંભળવા મળે. ઠંડી હવા પણ વાય.'
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે, 'પણ સાચા સૂર્ય જેવું તો ન જ થાય ને.' આ બાબત સમજાવવામાં ઘણી દલીલો થઈ, પણ સ્વામીશ્રીના મનમાં એક પણ દલીલ બેઠી નહીં. ચાલતાં ચાલતાં જ સ્વામીશ્રીએ કારણ કહેતાં જણાવ્યું, 'દુનિયા ગમે એટલી આગળ વધે, પણ ભગવાનનું કાર્ય બધા કરતા જુદું છે. એમણે જે જગત રચ્યું છે એવું કોઈ ન રચી શકે.'

Reasons for a Wavering Resolve
Thereupon Muktãnand Swãmi asked, "Why is a person unable to maintain a steady resolve in worship, remembrance, and religious vows?"
Shriji Mahãrãj explained, "A person's resolve does not remain steady due to the influence of adverse places, times, actions and company. There are, in fact, three levels of this resolve: the highest, the intermediate and the lowest. If places, times, actions and company are extremely adverse, then even the highest resolve is dissolved. What, then, can be said of the intermediate and lowest levels of resolve?"
