પ્રેરણા પરિમલ
પ્રગટ બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ મહંત સ્વામી મહારાજની પ્રેરક પ્રસંગ-સ્મૃતિઓ
સાંજે સ્વામીશ્રીને વિરોધ પક્ષના નેતા અને પૂર્વ ઉપપ્રમુખ શ્રી સ્ટીફન કોલોન્ઝો મળવા પધાર્યા હતા.
તેઓ કહે : ‘Welcome to Kenya. I am honoured to meet you. I heard you were praying for rain.’ (કેન્યામાં આપનું સ્વાગત છે. હું આપને મળતાં ગૌરવ અનુભવું છું. મેં સાંભળ્યું છે કે આપ વરસાદ માટે પ્રાર્થના કરતા હતા.)
સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું : ‘પ્લેનમાં રેઇન(વરસાદ), ફેમિન(દુકાળ), પીસ(શાંતિ), પ્રોગ્રેસ(પ્રગતિ) અને જોબ્સ(ધંધા-રોજગાર) માટે પ્રાર્થના કરી હતી...’
કેન્યા દેશના કયા નાગરિકે પોતાના દેશના આટલાં ક્ષેત્રોની ઉન્નતિ માટે એક સાથે પ્રાર્થના કરી હશે ? ખરેખર, સ્વામીશ્રી જગદ્ગુરુ છે, જે સૌની ચિંતા કરે છે.
સ્વામીશ્રીએ સ્ટીફનને સ્મૃતિભેટ રૂપે ‘ટ્રૅન્સેન્ડન્સ’ વગેરે પુસ્તકો આપીને નાડાછડી બાંધી તથા માળા પહેરાવી, પ્રસાદ આપ્યો.
અંતે સ્વામીશ્રીએ શુદ્ધ હૃદય રાખવાનો સંદેશ આપતાં કહ્યું : ‘Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.’
સ્વામીશ્રીના મુખે બાઇબલનું વાક્ય સાંભળીને તે અભિભૂત થઈ ગયા.

How Does One Develop Bhakti Towards God
"… Well, when one hears about the forms of God that are in each khand; and when one hears about the abodes of God - Golok, Vaikunth, Brahmapur, Shwetdwip, etc.; and when one listens with a sense of awe to talks of the divine actions of God describing the creation, sustenance and dissolution of the cosmos; and when one listens with keen interest to the narration of the divine actions and incidents of Rãm, Krishna and the other avatãrs of God, then bhakti towards God would develop."
