Thereupon Muktãnand Swãmi asked Shriji Mahãrãj, “The devotees of God remain in God’s service in Akshardhãm. What are the spiritual endeavours needed to earn such service?”
Shriji Mahãrãj replied, "Shraddha, swadharma, vairagya, total control over the indriyas, non-violence, brahmacharya, keeping the company of sadhus, atma-realization, unflinching bhakti to God with the knowledge of His glory, contentment, sincerity, compassion, austerities, treating those devotees of God who are senior to one in terms of virtues as gurus and also maintaining deep respect for them, maintaining a feeling of friendship towards those devotees of God who are one's equals, and treating those devotees of God who are junior to one as disciples as well as acting for their benefit - through these sixteen spiritual endeavors, an ekantik bhakta of God easily earns God's service in Akshardham."
