નાનીવાવડી ના હીરાના વેપારી...

નાનીવાવડી (હાલ સુરત)ના હીરાના વેપારી સંનિષ્ઠ ભક્ત શ્રી દીપકભાઈનું આકસ્મિક રીતે નિધન થયું હતું. તેના આઘાતમાં આશ્વાસન મેળવવા તેઓના પિતાશ્રી, ભાઈઓ તથા પરિવારજનો આવ્યા હતા. પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા ત્યારે ગળગળા થઈને તેઓના પિતાશ્રી કહે, 'આવું અકાળે બન્યું જ કેમ ?'
સ્વામીશ્રી કહે : 'મનુષ્યનો દેહ છે. જન્મે ત્યારથી એનું મૃત્યુ નક્કી જ હોય છે. એમાં નિમિત્ત જુદાં જુદાં હોઈ શકે. કોઈ પાણીમાં ડૂબીને મરે, કોઈ લડાઈમાં મરે, કોઈ માંદો થઈને મરે. પણ જે ભગવાનના ભક્ત હોય એની ગતિ સારી જ થાય છે, માટે અપમૃત્યુ થયું હોય એટલે અવગતિ થાય એવી ચિંતા જરાય કરશો નહીં. ભક્ત છે એટલે ધામમાં જ ગયા છે. દીપકભાઈએ થોડા દહાડામાં મોટું કામ કરી લીધું અને તમારી સાથેનો ૠણ સંબંધ પૂરો થયો એટલે ભગવાને તેઓને લઈ લીધા.'

The Unlimited Greatness of God
… Then, holding a branch of the tamarind tree, He stood facing east and said, "From here, the full moon appears like a small plate. But as one approaches it, it appears to get increasingly larger. Then, when one comes extremely close to it, it becomes so vast that one is unable to see its limits. Similarly, as obstacles in the form of mãyã are overcome, and one increasingly attains the proximity of God, one realises the unlimited greatness of God, and one's sense of servitude towards Him is increasingly strengthened."
