Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781-1830) was a spiritual luminary who established the Swaminarayan faith, transformed lives and banished prevalent superstitions. He revealed the principle of recognising oneself as a pure soul and worshipping God with devotion, for salvation. Devotees flocked to see him, and many gave up their homes to become sadhus to spread his message.
This pictorial presentation of his life and work has been made using 74 life-like oil paintings on canvas, rendered specially for this purpose. Presenting his life in brief is like trying to gauge the vastness of the oceans by looking at a drop of its water; this is just a humble attempt to honour him.
We are delighted to make 'Bhagwan Swaminarayan' available for free viewing.
