The Swaminarayan School in London has consistently achieved excellent GCSE and A-Level results and this year, the School continued to post above-average results for both stages.
Despite a national fall in the top two grades in A-Level entries, 47.8% of students received an A* or A grade – compared to 26.6% across the UK. Rikhil Raithatha and Karuna Patel, both aged 17, have secured places at Cambridge University; Rikhil achieved four A* grades and will study Mathematics, while Karuna, who achieved one A* and three A grades, will read History.
The GCSE results were also excellent with 62.6% of candidates scoring A* or A grades, compared to 23% nationally, and all 100% of students recording at least five A*-C grades. Special congratulations go to Amar Vadgama and Khushali Shingala who both received at least 11 A*s, and Vishvam Desai, Roshni Shah, Sachin Shah and Deep Shah who all got 10 A*s and additional As. This ranks The Swaminarayan School fifth among all independent schools in the UK according to the Independent Schools Council’s average-point-per-student evaluation.

Headteacher Mr Savjani expressed, “Each year our [GCSE] results are better than the previous year. Because the students at The Swaminarayan School are extremely well behaved and focused and their parents very supportive, they are able to reach their full potential.
“The A-Level results this year were very good with most students gaining admission at the university of their first choice. Students are able to reach their full potential at The Swaminarayan School because we can provide individual attention in smaller classes.”
Mr Savjani added, “We are very proud of these results and congratulate the students, parents, teachers and governors who have all worked together to achieve excellence.”
