The sacred place where Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami was cremated, sanctified numerous times by the Gunatit Parampara, and where countless devotees’ noble wishes have been fulfilled, the Aksharderi is the most revered, divine and holy place of pilgrimage in the Swaminarayan Sampraday. To commemorate its 150th anniversary, various events and celebrations commenced in February 2016. The highlight of this two-year long celebration is the ‘Aksharderi Sardh Shatabdi Mahotsav’, which will be celebrated in the divine presence of Pragat Brahmaswarup Mahant Swami Maharaj in Gondal. Everyone is invited to attend this unique occasion.
Please take note of these announcements:

The celebration will take place on Monday, January 22, 2018, Maha Sud 5 (Vasant Panchmi) in the evening (4:30pm – 8:00pm)

Entry will be given after 2:30pm.

Those who have difficulty in crowds, fragile health, or are senior citizens, are recommended to not attend the festival.
Regarding Accommodation:

Devotees from Gujarat:

Should arrive on the day of the festival, as arrangements for devotees from Gujarat will not be available. We request your assistance in these arrangements.

Devotees from foreign countries and those from outside Gujarat:

Accommodation will be available from Sunday, January 21. Hence, anyone requiring accommodation should not arrive before January 21.

Those devotees arriving from foreign countries or from outside districts should not request accommodations for their friends or family from Gujarat.

Those who have a personal home or have relatives residing in nearby towns and cities are requested to stay there and arrive on the day of the celebration.

Registration will be available online at www.baps.org/Akd150Utara. Please register before December 7, 2017. A confirmation number via email will be sent upon registration.

Due to the large number of devotees, accommodations will be provided either in or around Gondal city. Thus, it will be necessary to keep your vehicle with you.

Please Note:
· Swamishri’s daily Puja darshan, mahapuja, diksha and other cultural programs will take place in ‘Swaminarayan nagar’ from January 23, 2018 to January 30, 2018. Various exhibition halls will also be open to the public. However, accommodations will not be available for those days.

સાક્ષાત્ ગુણાતીત સ્થાન અક્ષરદેરી એટલે BAPS ના પ્રત્યેક હરિભક્તના હૃદયે કંડારાયેલું એવું એક મહિમાવંત તીર્થ જેની રજે રજ ગુણાતીત ગુરુવર્યોનાં મહિમા-સેવા-સમર્પણની ગાથાઓ ગાઈ રહી છે. આ અક્ષરદેરીના નિર્માણને 150 વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થઈ રહ્યાં છે, તે નિમિત્તે છેલ્લાં બે વર્ષથી આપણે અક્ષરદેરી સાર્ધ શતાબ્દી પર્વ ઊજવી રહ્યા છીએ. આ પર્વની ચરમસીમારૂપ ‘અક્ષરદેરી સાર્ધ શતાબ્દી મહોત્સવ’ તીર્થધામ ગોંડલમાં પ્રગટ બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ મહંતસ્વામી મહારાજની ઉપસ્થિતિમાં દિવ્યતા અને ભવ્યતાથી ઉજવાશે. આ અભૂતપૂર્વ અવસરનો લાભ લેવા આપ સૌને હાર્દિક નિમંત્રણ છે. આ ઉત્સવનો લાભ લેવા પધારનારા હરિભક્તોની સુવિધા સારી રીતે સચવાય તે માટે કેટલીક અગત્યની સૂચનાઓ ધ્યાનમાં લેવા વિનંતી.

સાર્ધ શતાબ્દી મહોત્સવની મુખ્ય સભા તા. 22-01-2018, મહા સુદ 5 (વસંતપંચમી), સોમવારના રોજ સાંજે 4:30 થી 8:00 દરમ્યાન યોજાશે.

સાર્ધ શતાબ્દી મહોત્સવની મુખ્ય સભા માટે સભાસ્થળે પ્રવેશ બપોરે 2:30 વાગ્યા પછી પ્રાપ્ત થશે.

જેમને ભીડમાં તકલીફ પડે તેવા અતિવૃદ્ધ અને અશક્ત હરિભક્તો ઉત્સવમાં ન આવે એ ઇચ્છનીય છે. તેઓ મહોત્સવનું જીવંત પ્રસારણ ઘરે બેઠાં માણી શકશે.
ઉતારા અંગેઃ

ગુજરાતના હરિભક્તો મહોત્સવના દિવસે નીકળી ઉત્સવ સમયે ગોંડલ પહોંચી શકશે. આથી ગુજરાતના કોઈપણ હરિભક્તો માટે ઉત્સવના દિવસે ગોંડલમાં ઉતારાની વ્યવસ્થા થઈ શકશે નહીં, તેથી વ્યવસ્થામાં સહકાર આપવા વિનંતી.

ફક્ત પરપ્રાંત અને પરદેશના હરિભક્તોને તા. 21-01-2018, રવિવારના દિવસે ઉતારા વિભાગ તરફથી ઉતારો પ્રાપ્ત થશે. આવનાર હરિભક્તો ઉપર જણાવેલ દિવસ કરતાં વહેલાં ન આવે તે ઈચ્છનીય છે.

ઉતારા માટે www.baps.org/Akd150Utara ઉપરથી તા. 7-12-2017, ગુરુવાર સુધીમાં ઉતારા રિક્વેસ્ટ ફોર્મ ભરી સબમીટ કરવાથી આપને રજીસ્ટ્રેશનનો કન્ફર્મેશન નંબર તથા કન્ફર્મેશન ઇમેલ પણ પ્રાપ્ત થશે. આ ઉત્સવમાં મોટી સંખ્યામાં હરિભક્તો પધારનાર હોવાથી ઉતારાની વ્યવસ્થા ગોંડલ કે આજુબાજુના વિસ્તારોમાં અનુકૂળતા પ્રમાણે કરવામાં આવશે, તો વ્યવસ્થામાં સૌને સહકાર આપવા વિનંતી. આ માટે આપનું વાહન અવશ્ય સાથે રાખવું.

પરદેશ અને પરપ્રાંતથી પધારનાર હરિભક્તો ગુજરાતમાં રહેતા પોતાના સ્નેહીજનોને ઉતારા માટે પોતાની સાથે ન લાવે તે ઇચ્છનીય છે.

પરદેશથી પધારનાર હરિભક્તને નજીકમાં પોતાનું કે સંબંધીનું નિવાસસ્થાન હોય તો ઉતારો ત્યાં જ રાખવો.

કોઈ કારણસર ઉત્સવમાં આવવાનો કાર્યક્રમ રદ થાય અથવા આવનાર વ્યક્તિઓની સંખ્યામાં ફેરફાર થાય તો ગોંડલ ઉતારા વિભાગને વહેલી તકે અવશ્ય જાણ કરવી.

તા. 23-01-2018 થી 30-01-2018 દરમ્યાન ‘સ્વામિનારાયણ નગર’માં પ.પૂ.સ્વામીશ્રીના પ્રાતઃપૂજાદર્શન, વિરાટ મહાપૂજા, જીવનપ્રેરક પ્રદર્શનો, તેમજ દીક્ષા મહોત્સવનો લાભ મળશે. ગોંડલ ઉપરાંત નજીકના વિસ્તારના હરિભક્તો તેનો લાભ લઈ શકશે, પરંતુ આ દિવસોમાં બહારગામના હરિભક્તો માટે ઉતારાની વ્યવસ્થા થઈ શકશે નહીં.
